In 1999, Professor "Louie" & The Crowmatix recorded as Rick Danko's backing band on his critically acclaimed CD "Times Like These". In 2001, The Crowmatix were the featured musicians on Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Garth Hudson's CD "The Sea To The North". The Village Voice proclaimed that "Professor "Louie's" upstate ensemble is an Americana template that jams out timeless rock, country, blues and New Orleans influenced originals". The group, who record for Woodstock Records are known for great "Live" shows, songwriting, singing and jamming.
